FITMENT GUIDE

Will This Attachment Fit My Skid Steer?

A mounting plate that connects is only the first step. Safe, useful attachment fitment also depends on hydraulics, attachment weight, loader capacity, dimensions, and the job you plan to do.

01

Check the mounting system

Many modern skid steers and compact track loaders use a universal-style quick attach, but there are exceptions and specialty couplers. Verify the mounting plate and locking points before pickup.

02

Check hydraulic requirements

Powered attachments may require specific GPM, pressure, couplers, and sometimes a case drain. Compare the exact machine and attachment specifications.

03

Check weight and capacity

Attachment weight reduces the capacity available for the material you are lifting. Long or heavy attachments also move the load center forward and can affect stability.

04

Check physical dimensions

Width, height, hose routing, coupler clearance, tire/track width, and transport dimensions can all matter depending on the attachment and worksite.
